WHAT TYPES OF MEDIA SERVICES DO YOU OFFER?
Wedding films, family documentaries, commercial and brand content, special event photography and videography, and family portraits.
We’re based in the Raleigh, NC area.
WHERE ARE YOU BASED?
WILL YOU TRAVEL?
Absolutely! We’re happy to travel for projects and events, and we do this very often.
WHAT HAPPENS AFTER I INQUIRE?
We’ll schedule a discovery call to discuss your project and needs so I can provide an accurate quote. Once your 50% retainer is paid, your date is officially reserved, and we’ll schedule a detailed planning call or meeting about 30 days before your project.
FAMILY DOCUMENTARIES
CAN YOU INTERVIEW FAMILY MEMBERS AND FRIENDS AS A PART OF THE DOCUMENTARY?
Absolutely, and we encourage it! Hearing stories directly from the people who lived them makes the documentary even more meaningful.
DO WE HAVE TO FOLLOW A SCRIPT?
Not at all. We’ll guide the conversation, but the goal is for your family’s stories and personalities to come through naturally!
DO YOU COME TO OUR HOME FOR FILMING?
Yes, we’ll plan ahead so your home is comfortable and ready for filming. If you prefer to film within a studio or venue space, we are happy to assist with planning this as well.
CAN WE CONTINUE TO ADD CHAPTERS TO OUR DOCUMENTARY OVER TIME?
Yes, this is what we hope for! Your family’s story continues to grow, and your documentary can grow with it.
Do we have to sit down for interviews?
Not necessarily. We can incorporate intentional interviews, candid conversations, or both.
Can you include old photos and videos?
Absolutely. Archival footage can add incredible depth to a family documentary.
How long is the final film?
That depends on the story and scope of the project. We don't believe every family's story needs to fit into the same predetermined length.
Can you film grandparents or elderly family members?
Absolutely, and if documenting their stories is the reason you're considering a documentary, I'd encourage you not to wait.
WEDDING VIDEOGRAPHY
HOW MUCH WEDDING DAY COVERAGE DO YOU RECOMMEND?
We typically recommend 6 - 10 hours of coverage to capture the full story of your day, but ceremony-only films are also available.
DO YOU USE PROFESSIONAL MICROPHONE EQUIPMENT?
Yes, we use professional audio equipment to capture your vows, speeches, reactions, and all those meaningful little moments clearly.
CAN WE REQUEST SPECIFIC PEOPLE OR SONGS BE INCLUDED IN OUR FILM?
Yes, your questionnaire gives you the opportunity to share the people, moments, songs, and details that matter most to you.
WHEN WILL WE RECEIVE OUR COMPLETED WEDDING DAY HIGHLIGHT VIDEO?
Your completed highlight film will be delivered within 60 - 90 days.

WILL YOU HELP US DETERMINE WHAT TYPES OF CONTENT WE NEED?
Definitely! Our discovery call will help us identify the content that best supports your business and goals.
WHAT TYPES OF BUSINESS DO YOU WORK WITH?
All kinds, but we especially love working with solopreneurs and small businesses.
DO YOU EDIT AS WELL AS ADD CAPTIONS AND GRAPHICS?
Yes, editing, captions, graphics, and other finishing touches are all included in our video editing services.
CAN YOU CREATE MULTIPLE PIECES OF CONTENT FROM ONE SHOOT?
Absolutely! We’ll plan your shoot strategically so you can get multiple pieces of content from one session. This will be discussed in advance on our discovery call.
SPECIAL EVENT HIGHLIGHTS
DO YOU CAPTURE CANDID MOMENTS AS WELL AS POSED PORTRAITS?
Absolutely! We love capturing both the planned moments and the candid laughs, reactions, dancing, and everything in between.
Yes, within reason. Up to 15 photos and a 30-second highlight reel can be delivered within 24 hours.
CAN YOU PROVIDE SAME DAY OR NEXT DAY CONTENT?
CAN YOU PHOTOGRAPH AND FILM AN EVENT SIMULTANEOUSLY?
Yes! Mirage Media operates as a dual-camera business, allowing us to capture both photo and video during your event.
We use professional audio equipment, including lapel microphones and recorders connected directly to the soundboard or speaker output.
HOW DO YOU ENSURE HIGH QUALITY AUDIO IS CAPTURED?
DELIVERABLES
WILL YOU SEND RAW or UNEDITED FILES?
We don’t provide RAW or unedited files. We deliver professionally edited final images and videos that are ready to enjoy and share.
DO YOU DELIVER HIGH RESOLUTION FILES?
Yes! Photography galleries include both high-resolution and web size images.
CAN MIRAGE MEDIA USE CLIENT IMAGES OR VIDEO FOR PROMOTIONAL PURPOSES?
This is addressed in every client agreement. You can approve promotional use or provide written notice that you do not want your images or video used for promotional purposes.
BOOKING AND INVESTMENT
IS A RETAINER REQUIRED TO RESERVE MY CALENDAR DATE?
Yes. A nonrefundable 50% retainer is required to officially reserve your date.
WHEN IS THE REMAINING BALANCE DUE?
The remaining balance is due 30 days before your project or event.
DO YOU CHARGE TRAVEL FEES?
Yes. Projects more than 30 miles from Raleigh City Center are subject to a travel fee based on distance.
HOW DO I BOOK YOU?
First, complete our inquiry form here. After scheduling a discovery call and sharing more details about your project, you’ll receive a customized proposal. Once the proposal is signed and your 50% retainer is paid, your date and services are officially locked in!
